The Air Jordan 4 Retro 'Motorsports' is inspired by a 2006 friends and family colorway created for the fourth anniversary of MJ's Motorsport Racing team. Released to the general public in March 2017, the shoe incorporates the teams' colors of white, black and royal varsity blue, but removes the Mars Blackmon heel accent that graced the 2006 shoe. An Air Jordan 4 Retro 'Motorsports Alternate ' , released a few months later in black.
