One of the original colorways of the Air Jordan 1 line, the Air Jordan 1 Retro BG 'Black Toe' gained popularity after being featured in several Nike promotional campaigns (including the photo that inspired the Jordan logo). Surprisingly though, Jordan only wore this colourway in a handful of games, adding to its popularity. Thrown back in 2013, the 2016 release returns to the original 1985 branding with a Nike Air logo on the tongue and the absence of a Jumpman logo on the heel.
